(04/14/13) LACROIX, Joyce M. (Rush), 80, of Comfort Way, Coventry, passed away Friday morning, April 12, 2013 at home.
She was the beloved wife of Joseph R. Bob Lacroix, they had been married for 56 years. Born in Ufford, England, a daughter of the late Frank and Jessie (Cunnell) Rush. She resided in West Warwick before moving to Coventry in 1984.
Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Celinda M. Cindy Joaquin and her husband Michael of West Warwick; a daughter-in-law, Deborah A. (Brackenbury) LaCroix of West Warwick; a sister, Daphne Ludgate; a brother, Anthony Rush; two grandchildren, Jeffrey K. Degraide and his wife Jennifer and Kayleigh L. Cousineau and her husband David; two great grandchildren and her dear friend, Pearl Rice. She was the mother of the late Joseph R. Rob LaCroix.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am in St. John the Baptist Church, Washington St. West Warwick. Inurnment will follow at RI Veterans Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-7 pm.
