(04/26/13) Claire A. (Robillard) Gagnon, 88, formerly of West Warwick passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Riverview Health Care. She was the wife of the late Jules H. Gagnon. Born in Norwich, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Eva (Bibeault) Robillard.
Mrs. Gagnon was an avid hiker.
She was the beloved mother of Guy Gagnon of East Greenwich, Richard Gagnon of Coventry, Daniel Gagnon of West Warwick, Denise McFarland of West Warwick and Claudette DelPozzo of West Warwick. Loving grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of ten. She was the sister of the late Ida Acciaioli.
Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 at 10:00 am in THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Sunday 6-8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to The Alzheimer\'s Assn., RI Chapter, 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 would be appreciated.
