(04/30/13) Cumberland Ella Y. (Langevin) Condon, 88, formerly of Newell Drive died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Sunny View Nursing Home, Warwick. She was the wife of the late Raymond T. Condon. Mr. and Mrs. Condon were married for 59 years.
Born in Central Falls, she was the youngest daughter of the late Albert J. and Ella (Juaire) Langevin, and she had lived in Cumberland for 52 years.
A Town of Cumberland School Department Employee for 18 years, Mrs. Condon was a school clerk at the Blackstone, Valley Falls, Central Grammar, and St. Patricks schools. She was a founding member of Council 94, AFSCME Local 1370.
She was a communicant of St. John Vianney Church, Cumberland.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa R. Kennedy-Leiter (Stephen) of Warwick; her son, Kevin R. Condon (Gene Philip) of Hudson, OH; her grandchildren, Peter and Sarah Kennedy and Christopher and Kellie Condon; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Albert D. Langevin, Lucille J. Brassard and Annette R. Audette.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held FRIDAY, MAY 3 at 10 A.M. in St. John Vianney Church, 3655 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
