(05/09/13) Marion F. Sperling, 98, of Helen Avenue, Coventry, RI passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at home. Born in Providence, RI she was the wife of the late Irving J. Sperling and the daughter of the late Frank J. and Jean G. (Whiting) McLaughlin.
Marion was a Social Worker for the State of RI for ten years. She also worked at Northern RI/URI Cooperative Extension in home economics for ten years.
She is survived by two daughters; Dianne E. Ricci and Jennifer J. Sperling and a grand daughter; Stephanie J. Pikkelsen. Her services are private and are under the direction of Gorton-Menard Funeral Home and Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI.
