(05/10/13) Roy, Timothy M., 52, of Hardig Road passed away on Friday, May 10th, 2013 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. Born in Warwick, he was the son of Edward C. and Diana M. (Tobey) Roy of West Greenwich.
Besides his parents he is survived by three brothers: Edward C. Roy, Esq. (Geralyn) of Coventry, Robert J. Roy of Coventry and Craig E. Roy (Lee) of Greenville, SC. He was the uncle to Brendan, Colin, Kirsten (God-Daughter), Chandler and Connor Roy.
Tim was a graduate of the Community College of Rhode Island and attended Johnson and Wales University, earning several certificates in the culinary arts.
Tim was a sports enthusiast especially devoted to the New York Yankees, Boston Celtics, Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots. Befitting someone born on St. Patricks Day, Tim was blessed with a quick Irish wit. Timmy was known for his impressions of famous persons, with his most notable being former President Nixon. He was a gifted artist who donated his artworks willingly to family and friends.. He will be missed by his family and friends. Tim was also a lover of music, in particular, Bob Dylan and Neil Young. All who knew Timmy will remember his generosity and good heart.
A gathering will take place at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick on Friday, May 17th at 9 AM followed with interment and committal service at RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.
