(07/24/13) LUKOWICZ, Leon J., Jr. Horse, 74, a lifelong resident of West Warwick, passed away Tuesday evening, July 23, 2013 at Kent Hospital.
He was the son of Diana A. (Burton) Lukowicz-Theroux of Coventry and the late Leon J. Lukowicz, Sr. He resided in the Crompton section of West Warwick.
Mr. Lukowicz was a welding supervisor at General Dynamics Electric Boat Division in Groton, CT for 35 years before retiring in 1995. He was a former member of the West Warwick Country Club.
Besides his mother he leaves three sons, Leon J. Lee Lukowicz, III of Naples, FL, Jamie J. Lukowicz of Providence and Sean L. Lukowicz, WWPD and his wife Michele of Coventry; a sister, Priscilla J. Pilla of Ft. Myers, FL and a brother, Glenn Lukowicz and his wife Celine of Marion, MA.
His funeral service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the HENAULT- GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick. Visiting hours Saturday prior to the service from 9-11 am.
