(01/02/14) Diane E. Bates, 60, of Warwick died peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John H. Bates and Evelyn M. (Mazzoncini) Bates.
Diane served as an Intern and then a Packer at Liz Claiborne Distribution Center of Lincoln for many years. She attended the J. Arthur Trudeau Center.
She is survived by several cousins and her devoted caregivers, Craig S. and Kimberly A. Parlato of Warwick. She was the big sister to Domenic and Kelsey. She also leaves her beloved dog and companion, Picasso Giovanni.
Her Funeral Will be held Monday, January 6, 2014 at 10:00 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3250 Post Road, Warwick. Entombment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Monday from 8:30 to 10:00 am prior the funeral.
