Mabel E (Theroux) Heroux - , RI

(03/12/14) Mabel E. (Theroux) Heroux, 89, of Coventry, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014. She was the wife of the late Donat J. Heroux, Jr. Mabel was born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Alfred and Doris (Saunders) Theroux. Mrs. Heroux was a Teacher’s Aide for the Coventry School Department before retiring in 1988. She was a Coventry resident for over 55 years. Mabel enjoyed her long retirement, as well as cooking, shopping, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons Darrald F. Heroux and his wife Claire of East Greenwich, Dennis M. Heroux and his wife Lauren of Coventry, Dean D. Heroux of Coventry. Also survived by a sister Mildred Tullie of Florida. She was the cherished grandmother of 9, great-grandmother of 21, and the great, great-grandmother of 3. A funeral service for Mrs. Heroux will be held Friday, March 14, 2013 at 10:00am in The URQUHART – MURPHY Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick, RI, burial will follow in the R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, RI. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
