(04/02/14) Mary \\\"Aunty Mae\\\" (Pucino) Blade, 86, of West Warwick passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 at South County Hospital. She was the wife of the late Francis J. Blade. Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Carlo and Ida (Cubellis) Pucino.
Mrs. Blade was a supervisor for Eastern Food. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church where she served on the Bazaar Committee, Sunshine Club of Monsignor DeAngelis Manor and Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Senerchia Post# 74. She was known for her fabulous cooking skills.
She was the beloved mother of Ann Hawkins of South Kingstown and James Blade of Tampa, FL. Loving grandmother of Karla Frezza and her husband Joseph, Kendra Guilfoyle and Melanie Blade-Nay and her husband Aaron. Caring sister of Carlo Pucino of Cranston, Jerry Pucino of West Warwick, Mildred Denton of Tyler, TX and the late Frank Pucino. Cherished aunt of many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Friday from 9:00-10:15 am in THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will be private.
