(10/25/10) MOORE, DEBORAH ANN (PHILLIPS), 59, of Warwick,
died on Friday, October 22, 2010 at Kent Hospital.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Theresa M. (Leblanc) Phillips of Sun City Center, FL and the late Michael J. Phillips, III. She was the loving wife of Joseph L. Moore, Jr.
Mrs. Moore was a Homemaker who was active in many organizations. She was a 1976 Graduate of Rhode Island College, where she earned her degree in Social Work. She was an Easter Seal Poster Girl from 1956 to 1957, served on the Governor\\\'s Advocacy Council for the Handicapped for six years, served as Secretary for The Summit Association, and volunteered for Child Reach.
Besides her mother and husband, she leaves a brother, Michael J. Phillips and his wife Karen of Warwick, three sisters, Denise M. Cohen and her husband Ron of Yucca Valley, CA, Diane C. McCabe and her husband John of Warwick, and Donna L. Provost of Fairbanks, Alaska. She was the loving aunt of eight nieces and nephews.
Her Requiem Eucharist will be held on Tuesday at 10am in All Saints Episcopal Church, 111 Greenwich Ave., Pontiac Village, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12-A off I-95). Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to St. Jude Children\\\'s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
