(05/13/14) Dennis M. Heroux, 62, of Longfellow Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away at home on Monday, May 12, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, RI, he was the beloved husband of Lauren R. (McKeen). They were married for forty-two years. He was the son of the late Donat and Mabel (Theroux) Heroux.
He was a facility supervisor for twenty-one years at G-Tech of Coventry, RI leaving due to illness. He also previously worked for Engineered Yarns for fourteen years. He belonged to Club Frontenac of West Warwick, RI.
Besides his wife he is the loving father of four daughters; Kerri L. Hayes, Jodi L. Nardolillo, Sandi L. Pichette and Staci L. Heroux, a son-in-law; Anthony L. Nardolillo, III, two brothers; Darrald F. Heroux and his wife Claire and Dean D. Heroux, fourteen grandchildren; Gianna, Trevor, Gavin, Dylan, Zachary, Anthony, Olivia, Kyle, Tyler, Alyssa, Megan, Devin, Ryan and John, two great granddaughters; Aubrey and Aria and several nieces and nephews. Dennis also leaves his loving in-laws.
His funeral will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 10:00 am from the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home and Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI, with a graveside service at 11:00 am in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm followed by a celebration of his life at 7:00 pm.
