(09/01/14) Everett W. Nichols, 98, of Warwick passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014. He was the husband of the late Montene (Staggs) Nichols. Born in Brockton, MA, he was one of thirteen children born to the late Forrest O. and Maude (McMutt) Nichols.
Mr. Nichols was a General Distributor for Standard Oil Co. He served in The United States Marine Corps during WW II.
He is survived by his beloved daughter Marilyn J. Blanchard and her husband Wesley of Warwick; a sister Rita McCordick of Massachusetts; 5 grandchildren Tina and her husband Anthony, Craig and his wife Patti, Stacey and her husband James, Kurt and his wife Lorraine and Mark and his wife Margaret; twelve great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren; and a special nephew Fred Nichols of Maryland.
His funeral services will be private.
