Florence M. (Phaneuf) McCrillis, 75, formerly of Hill Farm Road died Sunday at Roger Williams Hospital. She was the wife of the late Edgar A. McCrillis.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Leo A. and Florence (Stansfield) Phaneuf, she had been a Coventry resident for fifty years. Mrs. McCrillis was a nurse at various hospitals for over 40 years before retiring from Kent Hospital in 2007.
She leaves a daughter, Cheryl L. Osborne of Coventry; two sons, John A. McCrillis of Johnston and James B. McCrillis of Chicago, IL. 2 sisters, Joan Loignon of Warwick and Cathy Cardillo of Coventry; seven grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Leo A. Phaneuf.
Her funeral will be Thursday at 10 AM from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clement Church, Long Street Warwick at 11 AM. Calling Hours are one hour prior to the funeral at 9 AM. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. www.trainorfh.com.
