(11/07/10) BRZOZA, Bertha C. (Kulas), 98, of School St., West Warwick, passed away Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010 at West View Health Care Center.
She was the wife of the late Albert R. Brzoza. Born in West Warren, MA, a daughter of the late John and Agnes (Grozek) Kulas.
Mrs. Brzoza was a licensed practical nurse at the RI Medical Center for 21 years before retiring in 1977. She lived on Port Charlotte, FL for 20 years before returning to West Warwick in 1999.
She leaves a daughter, Gloria A. Selby, with whom she lived; four grandchildren, James and Jean Selby, Diane Salvas and Maureen Wilkicki; five great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. She was the grandmother of the late John W. Selby and sister of the late Nora Wojcik, Anna Carey, John, Joseph, Bronik and Pauline Kulas.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010 at 9 am from the HENAULT â GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am in St. Mary Church, Church St. West Warwick. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-7 pm.
