(10/06/14) Eric Messier, Jr., 68, of Westcott Terrace, Providence Street, West Warwick, passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014 at Greenwood Care & Rehabilitation Center, Warwick.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Eric and Doris (Benoit) Messier.
Mr. Messier was a graduate of John F. Deering High School class of 1964 and attended Bryant College for business. He was employed with Amtrol, Sears Roebuck, The Better Business Bureau of RI and was the proprietor of the former New England Fire Control of Cranston, Juniorâs Fruit & Deli in North Providence and Computer Connection, Inc. in Warwick.
He is survived by two brothers, Ronald E. Messier of Warwick and Paul H. Messier of West Warwick and two nephews, Neal Messier of Attleboro, MA and Marc Messier of West Warwick.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014 at 10 am in Christ the King Church, Legris Ave., West Warwick. Interment will be private.
