(11/09/10) Cumberland â Doris L. (Lafleur) Harpin, 83, formerly of 1 Flat Street died Sunday, November 7, 2010 at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Roland L. Harpin.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Alice (Harpin) Lafleur, she had lived in Woonsocket for most of her life moving to Cumberland 24 years ago.
Mrs. Harpin was a sales clerk at Ann & Hope and Rathbun Outlet for 50 years, retiring in 1987.
She was a member of the Riverside Tenants Association and a communicant of St. Joan of Arc Church, Cumberland.
She is survived by three daughters, Phyllis A. Durand and Deborah Ann Durand, both of Woonsocket and Diane Lynn Guernon of North Smithfield; two sons, Roland E. Harpin of Manteca, California and Kenneth Joseph Harpin of Woonsocket; three sisters, Alice Harpin, Lorraine Dienes and Irene Boisvert, all of California; one brother, Ronaldo Lafleur of Woonsocket; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Pauline Greenwood.
