(11/12/10) MOORE, DOROTHY L. \"Dot\" (McCabe) 49 of Coventry passed away November 8, 2010 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. She was the beloved wife for 8 years of Richard G. Moore. Born in Providence a beloved daughter of Alan E. McCabe of East Providence and Janet F. (Galli) McElroy of Warwick. Step-daughter of James McElroy.
Dot was a manager at the former Bess Eaton Donut Shop in Johnston, and a former manager at the Main St. Sports Pub, West Warwick. She was a former Cheerleader Coach for the Coventry Rams Pop Warner League.
A beloved and devoted mother, she is survived by her daughter Kelly Gibb and her husband Tim of East Greenwich. Step-daughters Meghan E. Moore of South Grafton, MA.,and Shannon C. Lefaivre and her husband Scott of Taunton, MA.
Also survived by her brother, Timothy A. McCabe and his wife Michelle of Warwick, and two sisters; Kathleen J. Paul and her husband William of Warwick and Kimberly A. Gedney and her husband Kevin of Brampton Ontario, Canada . Loving grandmother of Taylor and Ryan Gibb and Kadence Lefaivre. Aunt of Jennifer DeGregorio, Samantha Paul, Kaylee Paul, Caitlin McCabe, Victoria Gedney and William Gedney and great aunt of Chase DeGregorio.
Her funeral is Monday at 8:45 a.m. from \'\'WOODLAWN\'\' Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave. Cranston followed by a Requiem Eucharist Service at 10 a.m. in St. Luke\'s Episcopal Church 99 Peirce St. East Greenwich. Burial will be in R. I. Veteran\'s Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 3-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation, or the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
