(11/04/14) DiMASI, A. Thomas, R.Ph., 80, of Cantaberry Lane, Coventry, passed away Monday, Nov. 3, 2014 at Kent Hospital.
He was the husband of Phyllis R. (Eldridge) DiMasi, they had been married for 55 years. Born in West Warwick, he was the son of the late Thomas and Virginia (Blais) DiMasi. He was a lifelong resident of the Pawtuxet Valley area.
Mr. DiMasi was a Registered Pharmacist with DiMasi Pharmacy for many years before retiring in 1986. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, enjoyed golfing, stamp and coin collecting.
Besides his wife, he leaves three children, Julie Patrizio and her husband Ron of Largo, FL, Thomas DiMasi of Coventry and Lisa M. Lukowicz and her husband John of Coventry; a sister, Eleanor Martin of Warwick and six grandchildren, Matt, India, Thomas, Alex, Lena and Laura. He was the brother of the late Anne Woolfall, Irene Ruzzo, Edith Dion, Beatrice, Roland and Frank DiMasi.
His funeral will be held on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014 at 8 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 am in SS. John & Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry. Interment will follow with military honors in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Thursday 5-7 pm.
