(11/10/14) Anthony N. Santilli, 91, of Railroad Row, Warwick, RI, passed away on Saturday, November, 8, 2014 at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI. Born in Warwick, RI, he was the son of the late Carmine and Maria (Ionata) Santilli.
Anthony worked in construction and excavating for forty years for Skurka Contruction of West Warwick until retiring. Prior to that he worked for Coca Cola of Providence, RI for ten years and Steve Soucy Construction for fifteen years. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII.
Anthony is survived by a daughter: Donna M. Narcovich, a son: Robert Santilli, a brother: Mario Santilli, two granddaughters: Christina and Melissa Mathias, five great grandchildren and a dear friend: Milton Skurka. He was predeceased by four sisters: Theodora Santilli, Dora Styga,Yolanda Nortorgiacomo and Rose Gazzerro.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, RI.
