(04/26/15) Anne B. (Sanne) Svenevik, 93, formerly of Covington Drive, Warwick passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at South Kingstown Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late S. Bjarne Svenevik. Born in Aandalsnes, Norway, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Clara (Boe) Sanne.
Mrs. Svenevik was a Bookkeeper and Secretary for Quonset Naval Air Station and several area companies. She was a member of Greenwood Community Church, Presbyterian and the Sons of Norway. She enjoyed flea markets.
She was the beloved mother of Paul S. Svenevik and his wife Cindy Lasser of Block Island and Marie Ann Hart and her husband Christopher of Newport. Loving grandmother of Casuarina and Kaolin Hart. She was the sister of the late Andrew Sanne.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 11:00 am - 12 Noon followed by a Funeral Service at 12 Noon in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will take place in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.
