(06/02/15) FOLEY, Maria Daterra (Lobao), 74, of Wakefield St., West Warwick, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 at Kindred Hospital, Stoughton, MA.
She was the beloved wife of Paul J. Foley. Born in Faial, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Goulart) Lobao.
Mrs. Foley was the former proprietor of IHOP in Cranston for many years before retiring. She was a former communicant of St. Anthony Church.
Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Nancy Eckman and her husband Christopher of Marlborough, MA and Linda Daterra and her husband Adalberto Lourenco of Warwick and a brother, Joseph Lobao of Pico, Azores.
Her funeral will be held Friday, June 5, 2015 at 10 am from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am in St. Anthony Church, Maple Ave., West Warwick. Interment will be private. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 pm.
