(07/22/15) William L. Vick, 93, of Warwick passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Kent Regency. He was the husband of the late Edith A. (Moss) Vick and the late Joan G. (Fox) Vick. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late William V. and Hazel L. (Davis) Vick.
Mr. Vick was a Carpenter and Superintendent for Housing Systems, Inc. of Pawtucket for 15 years, retiring in 1984. He also served in The United States Navy during WW II. He was a communicant of SS Rose & Clement Parish. He was a member of Local 94 of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters where he served as president and was a life member of the American Legion.
He was the beloved father of Lee W. Vick and his wife Cathy of Narragansett and Randy R. Vick and his wife Wanda of Marietta, GA. Loving grandfather of Ashley, Stephanie and Brandon and great grandfather of Oliver. Cherished brother of Doris C. Miller of Bloomfield Hills, MI. Caring father in law of MaryAnn Ferri.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 10:00 am in St. Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick followed by burial, with military honors, in the R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
