(10/29/15) Coventry- Lamoureux, Alfred L., 99, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015. He was born in Quincy, MA to the late Alfred A. and Lena M. (Caporal) Lamoureux.
Alfred was a watchmaker for Bulova; however his life was mainly involved with being a father to each of his seven children. He worked other part time jobs and did his best to give his family what they needed to be happy. The seven children that survive him are: Alfred L. Lamoureux Jr. of Westerly, RI, Robert A. Lamoureux of Fayette, AL, Claire M. Lancaster and Ann L. Masters both of Byrdstown, TN, Carl M. Lamoureux of Mattapoisett, MA, Ronald D. Lamoureux of Redmond, OR and Charlene Cybulski of Coventry, RI; furthermore survived by a sister Marion Knekties of Cumberland RI. He was blessed with a bountiful amount of grand, great and great-great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his first wife Marie M. Lamoureux and second wife Jean F. Buckley and a brother Arthur Lamoureux.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at SS John and Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry on Tuesday, November 3 at 10 AM. Burial will be private. Visitation will be at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick on Monday from 4 to 7 PM.
