(12/07/15) SANTOS, Belmira Mabel (Sutil), 89, of West Warwick, passed away Sunday evening, Dec. 6, 2015 at Briarcliff Manor, Johnston.
She was the wife of the late Manuel R. Santos. Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late John P. and Alice (Enos) Sutil. She was a lifelong resident of West Warwick.
Mrs. Santos was an assembler at Davol for many years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Anthony Church and loved family gatherings.
She is survived by her children, Richard M. Santos, Det. Sgt., WPD (Ret.) and his wife Barbara, of Warwick, James R. Santos, WWPD, (Ret.) and his wife Cathy of West Warwick, Robert A. Santos and his wife Tracy of West Warwick, Mary Jane Santos in Georgia and Joseph A. Santos, USMC (Ret.) and his wife Mani of San Diego, CA; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Frank, John and Mary Sutil.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015 at 9 am from The PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Maple Ave., West Warwick. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7 pm.
