(03/06/16) BUMPUS, Kerry, N., 64, of Hazard Avenue, Warwick, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence.
He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen M. (Arpin) Bumpus. Born in Plymouth, MA, he was the son of the late Franklin and Elaine (Vaccino) Bumpus. He resided in Warwick for many years.
Mr. Bumpus was a caster with HiLite Jewelry Manufacturing Company for many years before retiring. He was a Vietnam War Army Veteran and received the Purple Heart and Bronze Service Stars. He was a active member of the Disabled American Veterans Associations.
He is survived by a sister, Diane L. Losasso of Cranston; a brother, Richard Scott of Woonsocket; a step-daughter, Cathleen M. Betters of Warwick and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on a day and time to be announced in the PRATA - GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick, followed by a funeral home service. Interment following with military honors in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
