Joyce Kelley, 83, of Warwick died Sunday at the Scandinavian Home.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Mildred (Boudreau) Kelley, she had lived in Warwick for most of her life. Joyce was a licensed practical nurse and worked at the Ladd School, Scandinavian Home and the Tockwotton Home before retiring in 1997. She was also a foster grandparent from the West Warwick Senior Center.
She leaves 2 sons, Stephen E. Martin of Warwick and Robert T. Martin of Johnston; 4 daughters, Kathleen J. Martin of Warwick, Patricia A. Gurskey of Warwick, Nancy L. Trout of Coventry and Mary Beth Calise of Warwick; 1 sister, Anne Griffin of Tiverton; a brother, Richard Kelley of Downey CA. six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Thomas J. Kelley, Jr., Mary Lou Smith, Michael J. Kelley and Patricia Goudreau .
Her funeral will be Thursday at 8:45 AM from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road Warwick at 10 AM. Call Hours Wednesday 5-8 PM. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. www.trainorfh.com.
