(04/07/16) Angela \"Lee\" (Gorla) Alexander, 92, formerly of Warwick passed away on March 31, 2016 at Riverview Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Ellsworth Al Francis Alexander. Born in Milan, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Cristinziano and Luigia (Sommaruga) Gorla.
Mrs. Alexander was a Nurse Assistant at Rhode Island Hospital for 10 years. She was a communicant of St. Gregory The Great Church in Warwick. She was a member of the Wickford Art Assn., East Greenwich Art Assn., Warwick Museum and Warwick Art Assn.
She was the loving mother of Paul S. Alexander and his wife Cindy of Warwick and the late Gary M. Alexander. Cherished grandmother of David Nicholas and Gary. Caring aunt of Luciano and Michele Gorla in Italy. She was the sister of the late Lorenzo Gorla.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a day and time to be announced. Gifts in her memory to Bradley Hospital, 1011 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, East Providence, RI 02915 would be appreciated.
