(04/21/16) BROWN, James A., 57, of Summit Street, West Warwick, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, April 19, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was the beloved companion of Sandra M. Dean. Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late Ralph B. and Audrey M. (Young) Brown.
Jim was a member of the Kent County Billiards Association where he enjoyed playing pool in the league, he loved to fresh and salt water fish and boating.
Besides his companion he leaves two sons, James Brown, Jr. of Macon, GA and Kevin Brown of Warwick; three daughters, Angel Brown of Macon, GA, Misty Molster and her husband Randy of East Haven, CT, and Kerri Laurent of West Warwick; a step-daughter, Stephanie Dean of West Warwick; a brother, Eddy Brown and twelve grandchildren. He was a brother of the late Gary and Ralph Brown.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 9:00-11:00 am in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence St., West Warwick, followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:00 am.
