(01/21/11) Cumberland â Phyllis A. Mascio, 72, of Sleepy Hollow Drive died Thursday, January 20, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Richard J. Mascio, Sr.
Born in New York City, NY, a daughter of the late Olga Lubinsky, she had lived in Cumberland for most of her life.
Mrs. Mascio worked in accounting for Ferland Corporation, Pawtucket for 12 years, and later in accounting and human resources for Design Ventures, Woonsocket for 6 years. Before retiring in 2004, she worked in human resources for Aim Products, formerly of Woonsocket and now of Cranston for 11 years.
She was a free-lance crafter and a communicant of St. John Vianney Church, Cumberland.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, three daughters, Judith A. Cote of Lincoln, Elisa C. Laplume and her husband, George of Old Orchard Beach, ME, and Cynthia L. Mascio of Warwick, and one son, Richard J. Mascio, Jr. of Cranston; and her four beloved grandchildren, Sarah and Kaitlyn Cote, and Jacob and Jordan Laplume.
Her funeral will be held MONDAY, JANUARY 24 at 8:45 A.M. from BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. John Vianney Church, 3655 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will be private.
