(09/27/11) RODIER, William L., âBillâ, 68, of Hardig Rd., Warwick, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011, at Kent Hospital.
He was the husband of Donna L. (Jencks) Rodier, they had been married 10 years. Born in West Warwick, a son of the late William L. and Lillian (Turcotte) Rodier.
Bill was a manager for Brown & Sharpe and a machinist for Harris Tools for many years before retiring. He was an inductee in the Rhode Island Country Music Hall of Fame, a member of the Rhode Island Country Music Association, a stained glass artist and served in the Rhode Island Army National Guard.
Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Wendy Beck of Coventry and Renee Jones of Georgetown, MA; a son, Ryan Rodier of Hope and seven grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held on Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at 2 pm in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick. Visitation Friday 1-2 pm. Interment will be private.
