(12/09/11) Yolanda (Yorio) Astore, 82, of Warwick, died peacefully at Kent Hospital on Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was one of nine children of the late Anthony and Michaelina Yorio.
She was the loving wife of Joseph J. Astore.
Mrs. Astore was a Homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Senior Center and visiting Oakland Beach.
Besides her husband, she leaves her two beloved children: John Astore of Atlanta, Georgia and Marie Webster and her husband Donald of Warwick. Cherished grandmother of Lindsay Webster, Kelly Webster, and Nicholas Astore. She was the sister of Nancy Boragine of Jericho, NY and Ann Diliberto of Staten Island, NY.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 12:30 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95). Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
