(01/03/12) John J. Del Core, 66, of Petti Drive, West Warwick, RI passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at RI Hospital, Providence, RI. Born in Boston, MA he was married to Frances L. (Leonard) Del Core for forty-one years and was the son of the late Guido A. and Cecilia (French) Del Core.
John was an engineer for Balo Inc. in MA. He was a US Naval Veteran during the Vietnam War. He belonged to the Valley Country Club, Warwick, RI.
He is survived by a son; Damon J. Del Core, a daughter; Roxanne L. Ellinwood, four brothers; Robert, Donald, Louis and Thomas Del Core, five sisters; Patricia Iozzo, Carol Croce, Kathleen Clapp, Cecilia Yocco and Denise Del Core, and four grandchildren. He is predeceased by two brothers; Richard and Walter Del Core.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the St. Joseph\'s Church, 854 Providence Street, West Warwick, RI. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gorton-Menard Funeral Home and Crematory.
