(02/08/12) Albert A. \"Bud\" LeBlanc, 72, of Glenn Drive, West Warwick, RI, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at RI Hospital, Providence, RI. Born in Providence, RI he was the husband of Claire E. (Bourassa) LeBlanc. They were married for fifty years.
He was the son of the late Albert R. and Elizabeth (Edwards) LeBlanc. Albert was an electrician for forty-five years for IBEW Electrical Workers Local 99 until retiring in 2002. He belonged to the American Legion Post #2 and Club Frontenac of West Warwick, RI. He was an Air Force Veteran during peace time.
He is survived by three children; Cheryl A. LeBlanc-Pierce, Marc P. LeBlanc and Stephen A. LeBlanc, a brother; Gerard LeBlanc, two sisters; Lois Lewis and Joan Barry and two grandchildren; Alexander and Victoria LeBlanc.
His funeral will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 9:45 am from the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington St., Coventry, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Avenue, Warwick, RI at 11:00 am. Calling hours are Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
