(03/01/12) Paolucci, Domenic, 93, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Center in Providence. He was the loving husband of Beverly R. (Slezak) Paolucci of West Warwick. They had just celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary this past February. Born in Hillsgrove, RI he was the son of the late Paul and Carmella (Carano) Paolucci.
Mr. Paolucci was a World War II Army veteran. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, Monsignor Blessing Counsel of Coventry and a member of St. Maryâs Parish (Crompton). He will always be remembered by his kindness and how he was so soft spoken and never had a bad word to say about anyone.
Besides his wife Beverly, he is survived by two children: Domenic Paolucci and wife Marleen of Hopkinton, RI and Paula Marsh and husband James of West Warwick; grandson: James Marsh Jr. and wife Dianna of West Warwick; two great-grandchildren: Adam and Carly Marsh of West Warwick and two siblings: Lucy Simas of West Warwick and Herman Paolucci of Warwick. He was the brother of the late James Paolucci.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Maryâs Church (Crompton), 70 Church Street, West Warwick on Monday, March 5 at 10 AM followed with interment at St. Maryâs Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 8:30-9:30 AM Monday prior to Mass at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to: St. Maryâs Cemetery, 70 Church Street, West Warwick or to Home & Hospice Care of RI (South Team), 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI.
