(03/11/12) Mary C. Spellman (Trainor), 91, of Warwick Avenue died Friday at Kent Hospital.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Philip A. and Mary C. ( Lenahan) Trainor, she had been a Warwick resident for the past 45 years. Mrs. Spellman was a secretary in the Warwick School Department for 30 years before retiring in 1982.
She leaves 3 nieces, Anne B. Trainor and her husband John Duggan, Bette A. Maioli and her husband Russell and Madonna A. Wehrlin and her husband George all of Warwick. She was the great aunt of Nicole T. Rose and Heath P. Maioli.; great-great aunt of Rylan P. and Jaxon P. Rose. She was the sister of the late Philip A. Trainor, Jr.
Her funeral will be Wednesday at 9 AM from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Benedict Church, Beach Avenue, Warwick at 10 AM. Calling Hours at 8 AM one hour prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to the RI Community Food Bank 200 Niantic Avenue Providence, RI 02907 will be appreciated.
