(06/02/12) GAGNON, Anita H. (Ouellette), 89, of Lafayette St., West Warwick, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center.
She was the wife of the late Edward Gagnon. Born in South Attleboro, MA, a daughter of the late Charles and Marie (Bouchard) Ouellette. She was a resident of West Warwick for 37 years.
Mrs. Gagnon was a nursing assistant at the VA Hospital in Providence for 17 years before retiring in 1985. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne.
She is survived by a son, Paul C. Gagnon and his wife Paulette of West Warwick; a brother, Edmour Ouellette of Prudence Island; two granddaughters, Sondra Bedard and Melissa Major and four great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Edward E. Gagnon and sister of the late Beatrice R. Ouellette.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 10 am in St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence St., West Warwick. Interment will be private.
