(07/07/12) Hugh A. Moore, 69, of Warwick passed away Friday at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Brenda E. (Murphy) Moore for 42 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John A. and Pearl S. (Stuart) Moore.
Mr. Moore was a Sheet Metal Worker with Local 17 for 40 years until his retirement. He also served as a Boy Scout Advisor and cared for animals. He was a member of Local 17, Sheet Metal Workers and the Romeo Club. He was a very creative man who enjoyed helping others.
He was the loving father of John A. Moore of Warwick, Elaine H. Clemm of Coventry and Sandra L. DeSisto of Warwick. Cherished grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of three.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Monday, July 9th from 4-8 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Funeral and burial private.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to Friends of the North Kingstown Animal Shelter, 105 Narragansett St., North Kingstown, RI 02852 would be appreciated.
