(09/02/12) Nellie (Bell) Vincent, 97, of Warwick passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Sunny View Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Raymond A. Vincent. Born in Dukenfield, Cheshire, England, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Whitehead) Bell.
Mrs. Vincent was a Security Assistant for the State of Rhode Island at T.F. Green Airport in Warwick for 15 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Hillsgrove United Methodist Church, now Open Table of Christ, R.S.V.P. and Old Warwick Grange #41.
She was the beloved mother of Joan A. Riley of Warwick, Donna Jean Vincent of North Smithfield and the late Raymond E. Vincent. Loving grandmother of six and great-grandmother of nine. She was the sister of the late James, Sidney, Harold, Edward and Marilyn Bell and Jean McPhillips.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Friday, September 7, 2012 from 10:00 - 11:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI 02914 would be appreciated.
