(10/15/12) MULCAHEY, Rosalind M., 100, of Warwick, died Oct. 3, 2012.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late James B. and Annie (Curry) Mulcahey.
She was a 1932 graduate of Rhode Island College of Education, taught at Temple Street School, Providence, before becoming a Consultant for the Catholic Division of a major K thru 12 school book publisher.
Predeceased by her brothers: James (Dorothy), FL, Thomas, Warwick and Charles (Marcia) Mulcahey, Seattle; a sister, Ruth Carroll (William) East Greenwich; a niece, Joan Mulcahey Carroll (John), East Greenwich and a nephew, James A. Mulcahey, Jr., FL.
Survived by nieces and nephews: Robert T. Mulcahey (Ann), Cranston; Terrence S. Mulcahey (Gail), Essex, CT; Barbara Carroll Thompson (James), FL; Ruth Carroll Beaumier (Alan) East Greenwich; Kathleen Carroll Hoehl (Robert), AL; Michael C. Mulcahey (Sheila), Renton, WA; Kevin E. Mulcahey, Middletown; Maureen Mulcahey Dahlstrom (Michael), Seattle, WA; also, Rosalind Palmer Sorber (David), Madison, WI. A very special thank you to her long term caregiver, Karen Tavares.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 at 10 am in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair St., Warwick. Interment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
