(11/20/12) William R. Petrarca, 56, a self-employed contractor of Warwick, died peacefully Monday at home after a long illness. Born in Warwick, he was a beloved son of Lucy (Petrarca) Petrarca and the late Louis Petrarca.
He was the loving father of Louis W. Petrarca of West Warwick and Nicole A. Petrarca of Cranston. Caring brother of Robert Petrarca of West Warwick. Cherished nephew of Carla Petrarca, Henry Petrarca, Margaret Petrarca, Ralph Senerchia and Fran Petrarca, all of West Warwick and Ralph Petrarca and his wife Barbara of Coventry.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 am from THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday 6-8 pm.
