(09/30/10) Michael Louis Gallucci, 58 a lifelong resident of West Warwick passed away Tuesday evening September 28, 2010, peacefully in the arms of his wife Barbara Jeanne ( Stacy) Gallucci. Their friends Richard and Peg DeLuca were also by his side. Michael and Barbara had just celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary in May with the renewal of their wedding vows. Mr. Gallucci was born in Providence a son of the late John Gallucci, Sr. and Anna (Funaro) Gallucci of West Warwick. Beside his wife, Michael is also survived by his step-children Steven K. Swan and his wife Alla (Casey) Swan of Plymouth, MA, Kimberly M. (Swan) Montanaro and her husband Staff Sgt. Thomas Montanaro of Camp Lejeune, NC, Michael G. Swan and his wife Katherine of Lynn Haven, FL, Melissa P. Swan of Pampa, TX, his sister-in-law Cheryl (Stacy) Lilley and her husband Gerald of Pampa, TX, Richard L. Stacy, Jr. and his wife Theresa of North Grosvenordale, CT, three granddaughters, Katelyn Montanaro, Taylor Montanaro and Ashley Montanaro, a grandson Riley Swan and a grandson CJ Swan due in November. He is also survived by a brother John A. Gallucci and his wife Kathy A. Gallucci of Coventry, a sister Judy A. Bentley and her husband John Bentley of Wood River Junction, his brothers, Joseph S. Gallucci of Johnston and David F. Gallucci of Johnston, and a sister Cynthia M. Ventura and her husband Anthony Ventura of West Greenwich. He leaves his nephew John A. Gallucci, Jr. and his wife Kristen, Ryan M. Gallucci, Anthony Ventura, Jr., Alexander L. Ventura, Richard L. Stacey and a niece Arianna M. Ventura. His aunts and uncles; Theresa (Funaro) Jarvis, Anthony Funaro and his wife Loretta, Norma Messier wife of the late Donald Messier, William Gallucci and his wife Jeanine, Lindy Gallucci and his wife Helen, Albert Gallucci and his wife Ann, Alfred Gallucci and many loving cousins. Michael was a 1970 graduate of West Warwick High School and CCRI in 1973 with a degree in business management. He worked at GTECH for 24 years. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys Fan and played baseball and basketball all of his life. Friends may call at the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home and Crematory 659 East Greenwich Ave. West Warwick Friday 5-7pm. Funeral services will be Saturday October 2nd at 11am at the Friendship Baptist Church, 2945 West Shore Road, Warwick, followed by interment at Quidnessett Cemetery, North Kingstown.
