Estelle D (Picard) Grossguth - , RI

(10/17/10) GROSSGUTH, Estelle D. (Picard), 75, of Washington St., Coventry, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010 at home. She was the wife of the late Ernest R. Grossguth. Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Heliodore “Leo” and Annie (Lucier) Picard. She was a resident of the Pawtuxet Valley area for most of her life. Mrs. Grossguth was a Certified Nursing Assistant at the RI Medical Center for 12 years before retiring in 1990. She enjoyed playing bingo and visiting Mohegan Sun. She leaves a daughter, Sharon Silva; five sons, Ronald, Brian K., Randy, Robbie and Brad Grossguth; a sister, Irene Hood and eight grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Loretta Francis, Robert and John Picard. Her funeral will be held Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010 at 9 am from the HENAULT – GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am in St. Joseph Church, Providence St., West Warwick. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8 pm.
