(03/20/14) RYAN Paul F., 74, of West Warwick, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. He was the husband of Joyce C. (Cady) Ryan; they had been married for 51 years. Born in Providence, a son of the late James M. and Agnes J. (McGory) Ryan. He resided in West Warwick since 1965. Mr. Ryan was a sheet metal worker with the Sheet Metal Workers Local # 17 for many years before retiring in 1994. He was a Vietnam War Army Veteran, a communicant of St. Mary Church, past Commander of the West Warwick American Legion, Post 2, a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local #17, life member of Club Jogues, past president of the Pawtuxet Valley Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, past Civil Defense Director for West Warwick and a member of the Crompton Veterans Organization. Besides his wife he leaves a son, Ronald P. Ryan and his wife Cathy of Albany, NH; a daughter, Kerri L. Ryan and her companion Robert Gagnon of West Warwick and a grandson, Jacob McKenzie and his wife Stacey. He was the brother of the late John A. Ryan, James M. Ryan, Jr. and Richard W. Ryan. His funeral will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 at 8:30 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am in St. Mary Church, 70 Church St., West Warwick. Interment will follow with military honors in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
