(09/03/14) DANIS, Jeannette S. (Guilbert), 85, formerly of Coventry, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at Scalabrini Villa, North Kingstown.
She was the wife of the late Robert A. Danis. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Henri and Irene (Gagnon) Guilbert.
Mrs. Danis was a secretary in the Office of Dr. Anthony Rotelli, Sr. for 18 years before retiring in 1991.
She is survived by her two children, Richard R. Danis and his wife Karen of Coventry and Linda M. St. Jean and her husband Norman of Bradenton, FL; two grandsons, Robert Danis and his wife Emily and Ryan Danis and his wife Courtney; two great grandchildren, Anna and William Danis and a brother, Roger Guilbert and his wife Margaret of Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014 at 9 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Pleasant St., West Warwick. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 pm.
