(01/29/15) BEAULIEU, Raymond L., 91, of West St., West Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Elmhurst Extended Care in Providence.
He was the husband of Geraldine M. (Poulin) Beaulieu, they had been married for 69 years. Born in Providence, a son of the late Alfred and Agnes (Tetreault) Beaulieu. He was a lifelong resident of West Warwick.
Mr. Beaulieu was a self-employed painting contractor for many years and a machinist at General Dynamics, Electric Boat Division before retiring. He enjoyed camping and traveling.
Besides his wife, he leaves five children, Jeanne Beaulieu of West Warwick, Roger Beaulieu of Coventry, Michael Beaulieu of West Warwick, David Beaulieu and his wife Brenda of Coventry and Raymond Beaulieu and his wife Cindy of South Portland, ME; a sister, Rita Santilli of Coventry; a brother, Richard Beaulieu of West Palm Beach, FL; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Teresa Poulin, Alfred P. Beaulieu, Albert C. Beaulieu, and George Beaulieu.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 9:00 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in SS. John and James Church, Washington St., West Warwick. Interment will follow with military honors in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 pm.
