(09/17/15) Paul D. Johnson, 82, of Warwick passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at home. He was the beloved husband of Gladys A. (Haskins) Johnson. Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late Clara Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was a Letter Carrier for The United States Postal Service in Warwick until his retirement in 2000. He also served in The United States Army.
He was the loving father of Lori Johnson of Warwick and Karen Johnson of West Warwick. Caring step father of Lori Petetabella of Maine and Dawn and Brian Petetabella, both of Warwick. Cherished grandfather of six and great grandfather of seven.
His funeral will be held on Monday at 10:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial, with military honors, will follow in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 pm.
