(10/20/15) Carl L. Johnson, Jr., 94, of Warwick passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Kent Regency. He was the husband of the late Angela A. (Lancellotta) Johnson. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Carl L. Johnson, Sr. and Violet (Lindstrom) Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was a Sales Representative for Arco Corporation until his retirement in 1990. He served in The United States Coast Guard during WW II. He was a graduate of Cranston High School and New England Tech where he also served as an Instructor. Mr. Johnson was a past president of the Lions Club, a member of the Knights of Columbus at Sacred Heart Church, a former member of Potowomut Golf Club and an avid Red Sox Fan.
He was the beloved father of Donna L. Zaccagnini and her husband Joseph of Warwick. Devoted grandfather of Carla Zaccagnini and Dina Vincent and great grandfather of Danielle Andersen, Nicholas Andersen, Emma Vincent and Ian Vincent. Loving companion of Enrichetta DiSano. Caring brother of Shirley Remington of Brandenton, FL and the late Wilfred Bailey, Wallace Johnson, Doris Mowry and Lillian Forman.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by burial, with military honors, in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
