(01/03/16) Elizabeth Louise (Rossi) Dailey, 87, of Warwick passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2015 at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island. Born in Providence, she was the wife of the late Frederick J. Dailey and a daughter of the late Terry and Fannie (DiMaio) Rossi.
Betty graduated with the class of 1950 from Pembroke College in Brown University. She was a Special Education Teacher Aide for the City of Warwick for 15 years until her retirement and a longtime communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Warwick.
She was the beloved mother of Mary Springer (and husband Edward) and Paul Dailey (and wife Marisabel); loving grandmother of Megan Springer, Olivia Dailey and Daniela Dailey; and caring sister of Donald Rossi of Maryland. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016 from 9 AM 10:30 AM in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 610 Jefferson Blvd., Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private.
