(12/15/10) William H. Morissette, Jr., 61, of Harley Street, died suddenly Wednesday at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Catherine R. (Gaudet) Morissette for 40 years. Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late William H. and Diane (Brouillard) Morissette.
Mr. Morissette was an Account Representative for several companies in Rhode Island. He received his Bachelor Degree from Johnson & Wales University and served in The United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of American Legion Post #2 in West Warwick.
He was the loving father of Eugene W. Morissette and his wife Rhonda of Warwick and Gregory M. Morissette and his wife Tina of Providence. Caring brother of Laurel Costa of West Warwick. Cherished grandfather of William and Christina Morissette.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation Friday from 8:00-9:30 am in THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNEAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Christ The King Church, Legris Avenue, West Warwick. Burial, with military honors, will follow in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
