(03/21/16) Morgan Laura L. (MacDonald), 73, passed away at home on Monday, March 21, 2016. She was born in Everett, MA to the late Malcom O. and Alice E. (Rodger) MacDonald.
Ms. Morgan had worked as a machinist operator at Victor Electric Company and a phone operator in Jacksonville. She eventually put that aside to raise her three sons and take care of her home. As a devoted mother, she cooked, cleaned and chaperoned her children wherever they needed to be. In light of her illness and inability to return to work, she became a dear friend to many, enjoyed making crafts especially tri chem painted shirts; furthermore she was much into astrology and Elvis. She was also known to be the \'voice of reason\' within her family and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her three sons: Lane Wyman of Coventry, Lance Wyman (wife Crystal) of West Warwick and Charles Morgan III (wife Sarah) of Coventry; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her close acquaintance: Jim Ware; three nieces and a nephew. She is predeceased by her twin brother: Malcom MacDonald.
Her Funeral Service will take place at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick, RI at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 26. Calling hours will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service. Remembrances may be shared at carpenterjenks.com.
